629 RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN RIGHT/LEFT ATRIAL ECHOCARDIOGRAPHIC PARAMETERS (INCLUDING ATRIAL SPHERICITY) AND OUTCOME IN PATIENTS WITH ATRIAL FIBRILLATION

Abstract Background Atrial fibrillation (AF) is the most common arrhythmia seen in daily practice. AF and atrial remodeling share a biunivocal link, been one cause effect of other. Usually we evaluate by measuring dimensions. Aim analysis was to power left (LA) antero-posterior diameter (LAAPD), LA volume indexed for body surface area (LAVI), sphericity index (LASI), right (RA) (RAAPD), RA (RAVI), (RASI) predicting primary endpoint (CEP2) (a composite all-cause death, any thromboembolism, acute coronary syndrome or unplanned revascularization). At Cox regression adjusted CHA2DS2VASc, type OAC pattern, parameters only predictive worse outcome (LAAPD HR 1.04; 95%CI 1.02-1.05; LAVI 1.01 1.005-1.05; LASI 5.29 1.02-27.71); significantly associated outcome.
